Meet your facilitators!

Welcome to the New Practioner Wiki.

 

The purpose of this Wiki is to give you the opportunity to reflect upon what you have experienced during TechKnowledge 2007 and determine how you will put this new information into practice.

 

In order to kickstart this process two facilitators have been selected to help you get started. They are:

 

LCdr Remi Tremblay and Tristan Evans

 

LCdr Remi Tremblay is currently employed at the Canadian Forces School for Aerospace Studies (CFSAS) as the school training and development officer. He completed his BEd. from the University of Saskatchewan in 1995 and his Master of Distance Education (MDE) from Athabasca University in 2006. LCdr Tremblay has been an instructional designer within the Canadian Forces for 12 years and has designed and delivered numerous courses such as the Interactive Courseware Design, Distance Learning Technologies for Managers, and the Air Force Officer Development programme. He received his designation as a Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP) from the Ontario society for Training Development (now CSTD) in 1999.

 

Currently LCdr Tremblay resides in Winnipeg, Manitoba with his wife Alexandra and son Brian. He is an active squash player who also enjoys other sports like curling, golf, and football.

 

 

Mr. Tristan Evans is the President of Perago Learning Solutions, an instructional technology development and consulting company. He completed his BA in Political Science at North Carolina State University. Mr. Evans has over 6 years experience managing learning in the Pharmaceutical industry with expertise in e-Learning development, vendor management and systems integration.

 

Currently Mr. Evans resides in Durham, NC with his wife Michele and son Owen. He is a huge sports fan particularly American Football, Soccer, Bowling and Hockey with a huge passion for the learning process.
